Earthasia International Holdings Launches Enhanced Website

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / December 18, 2020 / Earthasia International Holdings Limited (the “Company”) (“Earthasia”) (OTCQX: ETIHY; HKEx: 6128) has released an updated corporate website at www.eadg.com.hk. The website has been redesigned in order to provide improved access to Company information, optimized for both desktop and mobile viewing, and updated to reflect Earthasia’s increasing focus on its graphene business.

“Through many years of hard work, innovation, and relationship building, Earthasia has established itself as a growing enterprise and we want to make it as easy as possible for people to learn all about the history and the exciting future of our Company,” explains Earthasia International Holdings Limited CEO, Andross Chan.

Originally a large-scale landscape design and catering company responsible for multi-million-dollar corporate projects, the Company has been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2014. In August 2019, Earthasia acquired a graphene business with a strategy of growing it into a major supplier of spherical graphite to be used in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles and grid storage solutions.

The Company believes that the graphene market will see double-digit growth as the electric vehicle (EV) industry continues to make inroads in Earthasia’s home market of China and globally. “Due to the sector’s significant growth potential, we are focused on graphene as the centerpiece of a revised business strategy,” says Mr. Chan.

Earthasia currently manufactures a number of graphene products, led by spherical graphite, a crucial ingredient for the efficient operation of lithium-ion batteries. The Company holds 25 graphene-related patents in China, including a patented production method of producing ultra-fine spherical graphite, which has demonstrated much-improved performance in terms of energy storage.

The Company expects to continue its focus on improving its ability to refine graphite and has in place a strategy which it expects to increase production capacity and expand its product mix while maintaining a cost advantage. “Earthasia is strategically headquartered near the largest supply source of high-quality natural graphite in the world, which enables the Company to secure the raw materials necessary to support future growth and the Company has extremely strong and long-standing relationships with multiple major graphite suppliers in Heilongjiang Province, China” says Mr. Chan.

According to the USGS, Mineral Commodity Summaries 2020, it was estimated that in 2019 almost 75 per cent of the world’s graphite (700,000 metric tons) was produced in People’s Republic of China According to the Benchmark Mineral Intelligence May 7, 2020 Editorial, Heilongjiang Province is the main supply source for natural spherical graphite in China.
